Appointments & Reminders

Clients are responsible for remembering their scheduled appointments. As a courtesy, our automated System sends a text and/or email confirmation 48 hours in advance. To ensure proper delivery, it is the client's responsibility to keep their contact information up to date.

Cancellation, No-Show & Card on File

To schedule your first appointment, a valid credit or debit card is required to be placed on file. Your card will not be charged unless a cancellation, reschedule, or no-show occurs if less than 48 hours' notice is given; 50% of the scheduled service fee will be charged to the card on file. If a card is not on file, the client remains responsible for this fee and must pay it before booking any future appointments. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment or termination of future services.

Arrival Time

For first-time clients or those receiving a service for the first time, we ask that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake forms and allow time for consultation. If it has been over a year since your last visit for a specific service, updated paperwork may be required. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened or cancelled to accommodate other scheduled appointments, and the full service fee will still apply.

Illness and Health Considerations

For the health and safety of all clients and providers, we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill, contagious, or experiencing symptoms such as fever, coughing, or other illness-related discomfort. Massage, body treatments, and similar services can worsen symptoms when the body is fighting illness. If you must cancel with less than 48 hours' notice due to illness, any service fee will be at the discretion of your provider. Please inform your provider of any changes in your health, medications, or skin conditions.

Payment

Payments are due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and checks. A $30.00 fee will be charged for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

Gift Cards and Packages

Gift cards, whether physical or electronic, do not expire (unless it is a donated gift card, which has a one-year expiration) and may be used for any service or product offered. They are not redeemable for cash. Although gift cards are not assigned to a specific provider, we will make every effort to honor requests based on availability. The 48-hour cancellation policy also applies to appointments booked with a gift card or package. If proper notice is not given, 50% of the service value will be deducted from the gift card unless a card on file is used instead.

Professional Boundaries and Right of Refusal

We are committed to providing a professional, respectful, and safe environment. Any inappropriate behavior, harassment, or use of drugs or alcohol before or during a service will result in immediate termination of the session and may result in refusal of future appointments. We reserve the right to discontinue services at any time for any reason.

Minors

Clients under the age of 18 may be required to have consent from a parent or legal guardian to receive services such as massage, facials, waxing, or piercings. Depending on the service and the child's age, a parent or guardian may be required to remain in the treatment room during the session.

Personal Belongings

We recommend leaving valuable personal items at home. dōSPA & Salon is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings.
